Rostfrei Steels PVC Tank Liners for Water Storage
A PVC tank liner is a flexible membrane fitted inside a supporting tank to separate the stored liquid from the shell. ABHIRO in Coimbatore handles enquiries for Rostfrei Steels liner and storage applications. Select the liner for the tank dimensions, stored liquid and operating conditions.
Choosing a PVC Tank Liner
Request the proposed liner datasheet, membrane grade, reinforcement, seam details, fittings and installation requirements. Provide tank dimensions, capacity, liquid composition, concentration, temperature and cleaning chemicals for written compatibility confirmation.
PVC Tank Liner Questions
Can a PVC liner store drinking water?
Only when the exact membrane and all water-contact components are suitable for potable water. Request current documentation for the offered material and configuration.
Can it store chemicals, oils or hot liquids?
Do not assume compatibility. PVC grades have different limits. Submit the full liquid composition and operating temperature for manufacturer approval; pH alone is insufficient.
Can a liner repair an existing tank?
A replacement may be possible after inspection of the structure, internal surfaces and connections. A liner does not restore a weakened shell or foundation.
Is an internal liner secondary containment?
An internal liner provides a liquid-contact barrier. Secondary containment, leak detection and spill control must be assessed separately for the site and application.
How is a liner maintained?
Follow manufacturer instructions for inspection and cleaning. Check seams and penetrations, avoid abrasive tools and unapproved chemicals, and obtain an approved repair procedure for damage.
