Ozonation Water Purification System
Ozonation Water Purification System is an Ozonation Water Purification System uses powerful ozone (O₃) gas, generated on-site, to disinfect and purify water by destroying bacteria, viruses, and organic contaminants, acting as a strong oxidant that leaves no harmful chemical residues, only oxygen, making it a highly effective, eco-friendly, but complex and costly alternative to chlorine for residential, commercial, and industrial use.

An Ozonation Water Purification System uses powerful ozone (O₃) gas, generated on-site, to disinfect and purify water by destroying bacteria, viruses, and organic contaminants, acting as a strong oxidant that leaves no harmful chemical residues, only oxygen, making it a highly effective, eco-friendly, but complex and costly alternative to chlorine for residential, commercial, and industrial use.
- Ozone Generation: An ozonator uses high voltage (corona discharge) or UV light to split oxygen (O2cap O sub 2𝑂2) molecules, which then recombine into ozone (O3cap O sub 3𝑂3).
- Ozone Introduction: The generated ozone gas is injected into the water through diffusers or venturi systems, mixing it thoroughly.
- Contaminant Reaction: The highly reactive ozone oxidizes and breaks down organic pollutants, kills microorganisms, and oxidizes metals like iron and manganese.
- Decomposition: Any remaining ozone rapidly converts back into oxygen, leaving clean water.
- Powerful Disinfection: More effective than chlorine against many pathogens, including chlorine-resistant ones.
- No Chemical Residue: Decomposes into oxygen, unlike chlorine which forms disinfection byproducts.
- Improves Water Quality: Removes tastes, odors, and color by breaking down organic compounds.
- Versatile: Used for drinking water, pools, food processing, and wastewater treatment.
- Residential: Home water purification.
- Commercial: Hotels, restaurants, hospitals, bottled water plants.
- Industrial: Food & beverage, wastewater treatment, pools.
